Save the Lance? As of April 7th the future of the Lance was up in the air. The Board of Directors for the UWSA voted to cut funding for the print version of the student newspaper, The Lance, due to serious debt. Since then a campaign to "Save the Lance" has popped up on campus and of course social media. On Monday the Lance was granted one more print publication date for April 17th. After the 17th the future for the paper is unclear. The paper may have to publish through digital copies from then on. Could a solution be to add a fee to tuition costs to fund the lance?
